Background
Eurofiltec is a designer, manufacturer and distributor of liquid filtration equipment and consumables with operations in France and UK. The company was established in 1967 and has been in both public and private ownership. The business was acquired following the take over of Focus Dynamics plc.
In September 1999, following a turbulent 2 years on the London Stock Exchange, Focus Dynamics plc was acquired in a hostile takeover by Breckenburn Ltd, an investment vehicle led by Bill Eastwood. Focus was de-listed and reregistered as a private company, with its constituent parts being sold off as part of the published take-private strategy (see link to press articles)
In April 2000, Bill Eastwood and Kevin Parkin purchased the entire share capital of the company from Breckenburn and set about developing a new strategy for the company.
