Dartmoor Offers update 14 December 2005 Eastwood Anglo Corporate Finance Limited Winkburn Newark NG22 8PQ Authorised and Regulated by the FSA For immediate release The cash Offers made by Eastwood Anglo Corporate Finance Limited on behalf of Mrs Phillips for the entire Voting Deferred and Non-Voting Ordinary Share Capital of Dartmoor Investment Trust plc have been extended to 4 January 2006. At 3pm on 14 December 2005, the first closing date of the Offers, Mrs Phillips’s shareholdings were: Voting Deferred Shares 5,760 20.06% Preference Shares 616,500 1.71% Percentage of votes exercisable in general meeting 15.20% Non Voting Ordinary Shares 4,272 In addition valid acceptances have been received as follows: Voting Deferred Shares 2,641 9.19% Percentage of votes exercisable in general meeting including acceptances and shares owned by Mrs Phillips 21.97% Non Voting Ordinary Shares 2,209 It is a condition of the Offers that acceptances are received for 90% of the Voting Deferred Shares to which the Voting Deferred Offer relates, or such lesser percentage as Mrs Phillips may decide provided that this condition will not be satisfied unless Mrs Phillips has acquired or agreed to acquire (pursuant to the Offer or otherwise), directly or indirectly, Voting Deferred Shares and Preference Shares carrying, in aggregate, over 50 per cent of the voting rights then normally exercisable at general meetings of Dartmoor.
